On-Scene Spill Commander
Cooperative and company environmental personnel, as well as environmental contractors and anyone who would be required to manage a spill, would benefit from this two-day course on effectively managing a spill clean-up. Participants should have completed the "Oil Spill Containment and Recovery" course or the "Spill Responder" self-study course, and have a good understanding of spill containment and recovery equipment and techniques.
The program focuses on critical components of spill response including spill preparedness and crew organization with emphasis on the "Incident Command System" (ICS).
